Compass Architects（罗盘建筑设计事务所）于2021年成立于北京，是一家先锋设计事务所，实践领域横跨建筑设计、室内设计、城市设计、产品设计，致力于营造与人的感知与情感深度链接的空间场所。
Compass（罗盘）意味着定位与探索。我们依托广阔的国际视野和扎实的项目经验，立足每个项目的自身条件和客户需求，通过多维度的深度研究，为项目赋予精准的愿景定位。定位从来不是终点，而是探索的起点。我们拒绝被任何风格或范式定义，在愿景坐标的指引下，以跨学科的视角重新拆解问题，通过“Research & Design”的工作方式，不断探索更具创意的设计解决方案。
我们在拥抱硅基时代算法与数据洪流的同时，始终将目光锚定于无法被二进制定义的真实物理空间。秉持设计的核心价值，构筑回应文脉记忆、接纳自然流转、链接人类情感的空间场所。
设计的终点从来不是图纸交付，我们尤其关注项目的落地质量。我们与各专业顾问团队密切合作，提供全尺度链、全过程的设计咨询服务，以全程在场的方式，为落成护航，为运营铺路。
我们的实践聚焦于城市更新和文旅场景下的乡村振兴，在精品酒店、高端民宿、商业空间和文化建筑等类型领域，积累了丰富的设计和落地经验。项目分布于全国各地及东南亚地区，包括云南大理、云南丽江、江西景德镇、福建武夷山、西藏林芝、新疆喀纳斯、泰国清迈等。
团队核心成员均毕业于清华大学建筑学院，不仅拥有优秀的专业素养及设计创造力，同时具备丰富的项目落地和管理经验。团队曾获得有方空间评选的“2022年度中国年轻建筑事务所”，并多次获得国内、国际建筑设计竞赛的前三名及入围奖。
Compass Architects was founded in Beijing in 2021 as a cutting‑edge design studio. Our practice spans architecture, interior design, urban design, and product design, with a commitment to creating spatial places that resonate deeply with human perception and emotion.
“Compass” signifies both orientation and exploration. We draw upon a broad international perspective and solid project experience, grounding our work in the unique conditions and client aspirations of each project. Through multi‑dimensional, in‑depth research, we define a precise visionary positioning for every undertaking. Positioning, however, is never an endpoint—it is the starting point of exploration. We refuse to be confined by any established style or paradigm. Guided by the coordinates of our vision, we reframe problems from a cross‑disciplinary standpoint and, through our "Research & Design" methodology, continually pursue more innovative design solutions.
While embracing the algorithmic and data currents of the silicon age, we keep our focus firmly anchored in the tangible physical world that cannot be reduced to binary code. Upholding the core values of design, we craft places that respond to contextual memory, welcome the rhythms of nature, and forge emotional connections with people.
Design does not end with the delivery of drawings. We place special emphasis on construction quality, working closely with multi‑disciplinary consultants to provide full‑spectrum, end‑to‑end design advisory services. Our on‑site presence throughout the process safeguards the completion and facilitates the subsequent operation of each project.
Our practice focuses on urban regeneration and rural revitalisation within tourism contexts, with extensive experience in boutique hotels, high‑end guesthouses, commercial spaces, and cultural architecture. Our projects are located across China and Southeast Asia, including Dali and Lijiang in Yunnan, Jingdezhen in Jiangxi, Wuyishan in Fujian, Nyingchi in Tibet, Kanas in Xinjiang, and Chiang Mai in Thailand.
Our core team members are all graduates from School of Architecture, Tsinghua University. They combine outstanding design creativity with strong professional skills and extensive experience in project delivery and management. The team was recognised as one of the “Young Architecture Firms of China 2022” by Youfang Space, and has received multiple prizes and finalist placements in national and international design competitions.
